july update
Summer is here! Woohoo! Summer is flying by. Where was this fast time in, say, April or May?
First, how does my gadren grow? Very well. My optimism in seeds is restored. I am trying zucchini this year, as well as tomatoes and basil. The package said to plant lots and then pull out half. I was unable to decide which half to throw out So if you hear of a zucchini eating Wisconsin, or at least someone's garage (not ours, BTW), it just may be mine.

I ran across some of our trip to a cottage in Waupaca pictures. This sunset was beautful . Rob had retrieved our rented pontoon boat that had broken loose from its inadequate moorings. The rain was coming. And yet it was gorgeous.

Did I mention the fish?

Cute kid shots.

Miranda successfully had three days of sports camp. She has a sleepover tomorrow night, at our house. She has to stay all night.
Henry is starting to talk, unfortunately it seems to be about motorcycles. He can say Nate. Mac. And he makes a good vroom noise.

home again, jiggity jig
We're home. Our trip was nice. Miranda caught a dozen fish. Right off the dock. With a play fishing pole--a real hook tied to the red nylon string. The fish were panfish, approx. 4 inches long. They all went back to the water. Catch and release...gotta to start them young.
Henry even caught one fish.
And now what will July bring? Yard work it seems. The garden blossomed while we were gone. The zucchinis are blossoming as well.
